Districts in Assam

Assam is a state in Northeastern India, and it became a state on August 15, 1947, with Dispur as its capital. It’s a beautiful place known for tea gardens and the one-horned rhinoceros at Kaziranga National Park. Karbi Anglong is the largest district (covering 10434 km²), and Kamrup Metropolitan is the smallest (covering 955 km²). Nagaon is the most populated district, while Dima Hasao is the least populated in Assam.
